Creating our own survey

As you are watching this, your teacher will create one survey from the many ideas you have come up with.

Answer these questions in your book:

Why did Whitney's sister have to change her question?

What factors did Whitney's sister have to think about when asking her new question?

Why didn't Whitney's sister choose to ask everybody who walked out of the store?

As a class, you will transfer the results into a table in your book. Below is an example of what the table may look like.

Draw and complete a table in your work book

Discuss as a class different ways that you can represent this data.

Working together in pairs, draw the survey results as a pictogram in your books.

Once completed, draw the results as a bar graph.

Copy, as best as you can, the pie chart into your books. Answer these questions:
